It's been considered that Bernard and the Genie (1991) (TV) could be set in the same universe as Rowan Atkinson's sitcom The Blackadder (1983) (TV Series) and that Charles Pinksworth could be a descendant of the Blackadders. Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis were the writers and creators of the sitcom
