Cierzo Brewing was launched in 2018 as a union between craft beer microbrewers Populus, Hoppy and Gourpass. With a Brewpub in the centre of Zaragoza and a main brewery in Caspe the company can not only provide for the local market but have devleoped a succesful export arm as well.
The name of the company is the name of the strong, dry, cold north easterly wind that runs through the Ebro valley, where Zaragoza is located. The strength of the different beers are reflected in the strength of the arrow on the branding.
This is a powerpack offering from the Cierzo team, teaming up with the Castelló Beer Factory from the Valencia region to give a refreshing and delightful IPA.
With a combination of Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe and Columbus hops blended with Extra Pale, Maris Ottger, Viena, Red Rye Crystal malts and wheat, this is a complex and enjoyable experience on both the nose and the palate.
We were impressed with the smooth blend of hoppy bitterness and the subtle tangs of citrus that greeted us and are confident that you would happily order another after your first indulgence. This is an indication of the growing confidence and quality of the Spanish brewing scene and long may it continue.

Not quite 88 but bloody close. Great Scot! If you can't get it, go to a time where you can
