This is in fact a brand new beer released in time for St. Patrick's Day 2021. We suspect that Bulldogz have been on a very short list of tasters to try this entertaining beer in Spain.
This is not a beer designed to be taken seriously, it is bright green and tastes somewhere between mouthwash and mint ice cream, a minty Aero chocolate bar is probably the closest description we can find. The creamy finish gives it hints of American Cream Soda and you would be hard pressed to find any of the traditional hints of beer in the nose or the mouth.
It is a celebratory beer and not a drink that will have you preparing a solid session. One to get your party started with something different or a novelty toward the end of the night
The White Hag brewery based in Sligo, Ireland has been producing some of the most mythical beers in the last 100 years. A mix of traditional recipes and modern innovation with a touch of folklore thrown in for good measure. We took a look at their St Patrick's Day special edition, the Shamrock Shake Ice Cream Ale, as a part of their experimental 'Spree Series.'
Visit their store for an immense range of Stouts, IPA's, Sours and special editions delivered to your door.
